Ancient Roman pots, mono

Description

Taken in the ancient ruined city of Pompeii, near Napoli in Italy. Pompeii, a city of around 11,500 people, was destroyed and buried under around 6m of ash From the eruption of mount Versuvius in 79AD. Well preserved under the ash, it was undisturbed for hundreds of years. These are some of the pots that were uncovered during excavations of the city.
