Baltic Centre for Contemporary art

Kittiwakes roosting in a close up shot of the old Baltic Flour Mill sign along the top of the Baltic Centre for Contemporary art in Gateshead. The art gallery used to be a flour mill many years ago and fell into dereliction until being rejuvenated as a gallery. It is now also host to one of the biggest inland nesting sites for Kittiwakes.
